This 1CE required class for Florida License renewal provides an overview of the crimes of sex and labor human trafficking, focusing on the United States as it pertains to the massage therapy industry. Understand how illicit establishments operate, how to identify red flags, prevent them from soliciting or recruiting YOU for employment, staying safe as a practitioner of massage therapy, and how to report suspicions of human trafficking to law enforcement. This webinar-style class includes video, audio commentary and a Q&A session with a lawyer who has worked in human trafficking cases in Florida for the District Attorney. The self-study class includes quiz questions to test your understanding throughout the course.
